Account & Data Deletion Portal

EmeChat respects your right to data sovereignty. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time either instantly inside the mobile app or by submitting a support request.

Method 1 (Instant)

In-App Instant Deletion

You can permanently delete your EmeChat account directly within the mobile app in under 10 seconds:

  1. Open the EmeChat app on your phone.
  2. Navigate to Settings $\rightarrow$ Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm with your registered phone number.
What gets purged instantly: Your account profile, display picture, active JWT session tokens, Signal E2EE pre-key bundles, and server session history are permanently wiped.
Method 2 (Manual Support Request)

If you no longer have access to the mobile app, you can submit a manual deletion request to our Data Protection Officer:

Body: Include your registered phone number with country code.
